No plans for new Australian cricket captain, says coach Justin Langer – Wide World of Sports
‘Our future looks good’

Australian cricket coach Justin Langer says there is “no captaincy position available” in any form of the men’s game.
Langer threw his support behind current Test skipper Tim Paine and ODI/T20 captain Aaron Finch, ahead of a bumper 2021 which features both an Ashes series and the T20 World Cup.
The captaincy question has become a public debate again this week after former skipper Steve Smith, who served a 12-month ban for his role in ‘Sandpaper-gate’, said he was keen to lead the side again.
