No new COVID-19 cases in NSW as Victoria reopens to more of Sydney – Sydney Morning Herald
NSW has recorded no new coronavirus cases for a fifth consecutive day, as the exclusion of previous cases led to the state’s case total being revised downwards.
Investigations are continuing into other unlinked cases in the area, including a couple from the upper part of the northern beaches whose infection was reported on January 10.
Although 17,431 tests were reported in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday, 6000 of these were tests that were done but not included in the previous day’s numbers due to an IT error.
