No new COVID-19 cases as Queensland introduces digital scripts – Brisbane Times
Health Minister Steven Miles said Queenslanders could use electronic scripts to buy medication from pharmacies and announced a new Deputy Chief Health Officer.
He also announced the appointment of a new Deputy Chief Health Officer, Dr Sonya Bennett.
Dr Bennett said she had worked with Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young for the past seven years as an executive director of the communicable diseases branch.
Ive been heavily involved already in supporting Dr Young through the pandemic, she said.
