A bar closing its doors due to coronavirus received an unexpected boost from a customer dropping by for just one beer.
The owner of a bar about to voluntarily close due to Covid-19 measures was shocked after a customer left an enormous tip.
The owner of Night Town in Cleveland, Brendan Ring, wrote on Facebook he was just closing up the bar when a man walked in and order a beer.
After enjoying the beer he handed the credit card slip back to Mr Ring, wished him well and told him to share it amongst the staff working on the day.
As he walked out I looked down at the tip and realised he left a whopping $3,000 (AU$4,100)…
