No local Victorian COVID-19 cases for 18 days in a row – The Age
Victoria has recorded no new locally acquired cases of coronavirus, and one case in an international traveller within hotel quarantine.
As of Sunday, a total of nine coronavirus cases have been linked to the Australian Open. In a statement, COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria confirmed one case had been reclassified and removed from the total of positive cases.
WA Premier Mark McGowan has indicated that his government could ease its border restrictions with Victoria sooner than originally planned, due to its run of days with no community transmission, but was still waiting for the state to record a full 28 days of no locally acquired cases.
