Nick Cave, alone in a palace, delivers a career highlight – Sydney Morning Herald
Nick Cave’s solo performance at London’s Alexandra Palace was sobering, stripped-back and immensely powerful.
Dressed head to toe in black, his left hand adorned with rings and sheet music being tossed at his feet, this is unlike anything Cave delivers with the Bad Seeds, where drums and electric guitars erupt around him and myriad characters and scenarios leap from the songs.
