As the UK marks one year since its first Covid-19 case, NHS boss Sir Simon Stevens has paid tribute to staff.
The boss of the NHS in England marked the “extraordinary work in a year like no other”.
Sir Stevens visited the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where two Chinese nationals were treated after they tested positive for the virus.
