Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio was left stranded on Monday [AEDT] without any quarterbacks and their clash with the New Orleans Saints went as expected.
Practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton was pressed into duty as an emergency quarterback, completing only 1-of-9 passes for 13 yards with two interceptions and a sack for the Saints defensive unit in the 31-3 loss.
It was the first time since 1998 a team completed only one pass and had fewer than 15 passing yards.
