When Rachael Ferguson heard she had bowel cancer, she felt a bit like a fraud.
The 32-year-old newlywed and self-described gym bunny had no red flags until prenatal blood tests revealed she was anaemic.
During further examination, “unfortunately, with a camera in my rear end, I found out I had cancer that had been sitting in my rectum for quite a significant amount of time,” the New Zealand woman said.
