Newcastle playmaker to miss multiple games

The Newcastle Knights have been dealt a massive blow ahead of Magic Round with star playmaker Kalyn Ponga ruled out for tomorrow night’s clash in Brisbane against the Wests Tigers.
The Knights confirmed Ponga’s omission this morning in a media release, and announced that youngster Tex Hoy is set to step up at fullback.
Ponga is reportedly expected to miss two matches after suffering an adductor injury.
