New Xbox Consoles Are First to Support Gaming in Dolby Vision and Atmos – PCMag AU
Developers can take full-advantage of Dolby’s HDR and surround sound technology for Xbox games.

Microsoft was the first to announce pricing and availability for its two next-gen games consoles, and Dolby has just confirmed they will also be the first consoles to support gaming in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
We already expected the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S to offer higher resolutions and much faster game load times, but they are also set to unlock a major visual effects and surround sound audio upgrade, too.
