The federal government has launched a new coronavirus advertising campaign targeting young people.
The campaign depicts a mother who is in intensive care battling COVID-19, as her son talks about how the virus spread to him from a coronavirus-positive mate who worked with someone with mild cold-like symptoms.
None of the young people knew they were infected.
