AMD is preparing a new ZEN3 based generation of Threadripper processors, software support is added slowly but surely.
The Beta version of the system information software HWinfo mentions providing better detection for Threadripper Pro and next-generation Threadripper, according to a changelog. AMD’s current Zen 3 architecture has been used in the Ryzen 5000 processors since last November, but the actually more powerful Threadripper processors are still at “Ryzen 3000” based on the older Zen 2 architecture….
