Maille Mustard launches delicious free digital cookbook on Maille.com.au
Hugh Jackman has been crowned Australia’s most wanted celebrity dinner party guest with Kyle Sandilands emerging as the nation’s least popular dinner guest, according to a new independent survey carried out on behalf of Maille Mustard to celebrate the launch of Maille Tour du Monde; a free digital cookbook filled with delicious globally inspired recipes by celebrity chefs designed to impress even the fussiest dinner party guests.
The Maille Tour du Monde cookbook, available to download from maille.com.au, is full of must-try dinner party recipes that explore international cuisines and flavours and have been crafted by Maille’s expert mustard sommeliers and notable chefs Guillaume Brahimi, Diana Chan, Peter Kuruvita, Brendan Pang, amongst others.
Maille’s national survey of more than 1,000 people revealed Australia’s deepest dinner party desires, with 19% revealing they would most like to invite Hugh Jackman over for a dinner party, followed by Chris Hemsworth (14%), then Prince Harry (10%), with Kyle Sandilands only receiving 3% of the votes and sitting at the bottom of the list.
In a ‘who would you rather’ scenario, the survey also revealed:
- 58% of Australian’s would rather have Kate Middleton around for a dinner party over Meghan Markle
- Two thirds (66%) would rather have dinner with Dave Hughes (Hughesy) than Kyle Sandilands
- 80% of Australians would rather have dinner with Chris Hemsworth over Liam Hemsworth
- 61% of Australians would rather have Scott Morrison over for dinner than Anthony Albanese
The survey also revealed Jessica Mauboy as Australia’s most wanted female dinner party guest with 8% of Australians selecting to invite the singer as their celebrity dinner party guest of choice, followed by Nicole Kidman (6%) and then Delta Goodrem (5%). Only 1% of females would invite Kyle Sandilands around for a dinner party compared to 4% of males.
Maille Australia Export Manager, Julien Pourtau says “Our dinner party survey has revealed some interesting results that would be great conversation-starters for your next dinner party, such as Prince Harry proving more popular than Meghan Markle, with 10% of respondents choosing to invite Harry over for dinner compared to the 8% of respondents who would invite his wife. However, Aussie Men are more likely to invite Meghan Markle over for dinner than women, with 10% of males choosing to invite Meghan over, compared to only 5% of females.”
“30% of Australians would most like to talk to their celebrity dinner guests about work, while 22% would love to chat about family matters. 5% of Australians would talk to their celebrity dinner guest about their sex life, celebrity gossip or dating and relationships,” explains Julien Pourtau.
The Maille Tour du Monde cookbook, which also features bonus entrée, dessert and cocktail recipes especially for entertaining, invites Aussies to embark on a food safari dinner party with loved ones, exploring recipes from France to Indonesia and everywhere in-between, whilst the nation’s borders remain shut.
