Parallels and Google have partnered to enable Windows applications to run in VMs on Chromebooks without rebooting or an internet connection.
Parallels has partnered with Google to create Parallels Desktop for Chromebook Enterprise.
It is a desktop virtualisation solution that enables full-featured Windows applications to run in virtual machines on Chromebooks without rebooting or an internet connection, which will be released later this year.
Operating systems and the number of available applications have grown exponentially, a statement from the company says.
