New NSW COVID-19 find sparks warning for 80,000 Sydney residents – 7NEWS.com.au

More than 80,000 Sydney residents have been put on alert after fragments of COVID-19 were detected in sewage.
A sewage sample taken on Tuesday from Allambie Heights, on Sydneys northern beaches, tested positive for the virus.
Its the second detection of the virus in sewage at the same location for the second week in a row.
NSW Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant said despite the detection, it was pleasing to note that the viral load in the sample remained low.
