The 13-man squad released for the Stars match includes rising young fast bowlers Xavier Bartlett and Connor Sully, allrounders Jack Wood and James Bazley, experienced batsman Tom Cooper and English recruit Dan Lawrence.

Each would make their Heat debut, and except for Cooper, their inaugural appearance in the BBL.

The final XI will be announced at the toss, with either the 12th or 13th man able to be nominated as the ‘X-Factor’ player, one of three new rule changes for this year’s BBL.
