New health rules apply to NSW residents in response to Northern Beaches COVID-19 cluster
As the Northern Beaches COVID-19 cluster grows, health warnings are being issued in quick succession and rules for interstate travel have changed.
There are now a total of 38 cases of COVID-19 as of 8:00pm on Friday, which have spread across the city and even the Central Coast.
A public health order was also issued on Saturday evening for the Northern Beaches local government area, with fines applying for breaches of the order.
Here’s a breakdown of what people in the state should and shouldn’t do, according to NSW Health.
What if you live on the Northern Beaches?
As of 5:00pm on Saturday to midnight on Wednesday, residents in the Northern Beaches are to stay home and not travel out of the area unless absolutely necessary.
