New Dew deal: Suns lock away coach after list overhaul – AFL
Stuart Dew has finally put pen to paper on a new contract

STUART Dew will coach Gold Coast for at least a further two seasons after finalising a new deal.
Dew’s contract extends his stay at the Suns until the end of 2022, as AFL.com.au revealed in February.
The former Port Adelaide and Hawthorn premiership player has overseen a complete list overhaul since taking over from Rodney Eade.
The new-look Suns are now one of the most exciting teams in the competition with top-end draft talent Matt Rowell, Izak Rankine, Ben King, Noah Anderson and Jack Lukosius.
Dew’s first two years in charge yielded just seven wins, but the 3-3 beginning to 2020 has been full of promise.
Despite the tough beginning to his tenure, Gold Coast was always bullish about his progress, opening negotiations last year to extend his time at the club.
