New coronavirus hotspot where cases have doubled in a week – and it’s in the south – Mirror Online
Swale in Kent now has the highest Covid-19 infection rate in the country, latest figures show, with the borough overtaking Hull as the worst-affected hotspot

A borough in Kent now has the highest coronavirus infection rate in England, new data shows.
Latest figures show Swale had 631.7 cases per 100,000 people in the week to 18 November – propelling it above Hull, which was England’s worst-affected place last week.
It follows an alarming rise in cases, which saw the number of new cases in Swale more than double in seven days.
Experts have warned that southern England is fast overtaking parts of the north which have been heavily hit by the virus.
