New coronavirus clusters in Melbourne hospitals as major outbreak at Frankston infects dozens – The Age

Two more coronavirus outbreaks have been detected in hospitals in Melbourne’s south and east as a major cluster at Frankston Hospital has infected 51 staff including doctors and nurses.

In a statement released late on Wednesday night, Peninsula Health, which oversees the running of Frankston Hospital, confirmed 40 nursing staff, four doctors, five support staff members and two Allied Health employees have so far tested positive to COVID-19.
