Netherlands unveils home 3D printed with concrete, and it wants to use the technology to house its growing population – ABC News
The small country has a population of 17.4 million people and it’s rising, so it’s looking at 3D printing technology to help it fabricate enough homes.

The Netherlands needs thousands of new homes to accommodate its growing population and it might not build them all some may end up being printed.

- The home was printed in sections at a factory and assembled onsite, where its roof was added
- The home complies with local contrustuciton laws and took 120 hours to print
- Five houses are due to be built using the technology
