Netflix Responds To “Avatar” Series Creators Exit – Dark Horizons

Yesterday came the news that the creators of the famed “Avatar: The Last Airbender” animated series, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, would no longer be involved in Netlfix’s planned live-action series adaptation.
It’s a controversial exit to say the least, the pair themselves issuing statements yesterday saying their departure was due to creative differences with Netflix failing to keep their promise of giving them creative control over the live-action series.
