Nature family of journals inks first open-access deal with an institution – Science Magazine
Four-year deal with Max Planck institutes is a first for a highly selective journal

The deal covering 55 Nature-branded titles is based on a cost of 9500 per article for immediate open access, higher than prevailing market rates.
