Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has defended his side’s game plan against Sydney despite managing to score just five goals in yet another defeat.
The Magpies looked poised to build on last week’s win when they held a three-goal lead at quarter-time, before managing just one more goal in the final three quarters, as Sydney ran out 10. 12. (72) to 5. 12. (42) winners at the SCG.
While the fade-out was disappointing, Buckley said the first quarter showed that the plans he had brought into the game…
