A NASA spacecraft is about to land on an asteroid and scrape some dirt off of it.
While that might not sound overly exciting, its a major feat thats years in the making.
The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft has been orbiting the asteroid Bennu since the end of 2018.
The mission to get to the unmanned spacecraft there in the first place began two years prior.
Scientists hope the long-haul mission wont be for naught, with asteroids able to provide an insight into how the solar system began.
