‘Narrow focus’: Worsfold fires back at Lloyd, Bombers’ critics – The Age
Essendon coach John Worsfold has defended a half-time joke the players told last week and opens up on club great Matthew Lloyd.
The club’s coaching set-up, as part of a succession plan, has also been questionable, with Ben Rutten in charge of the game plan and tactics, but Worsfold the front man when it came to media dealings.
Worsfold, preparing for his second-last game at the club before Rutten assumes full responsibility, maintains he will hand over a group on the rise.
