National Australia Bank begun to sweep the entire network of branches following a “physical security threat”.

National Australia Bank began “sweeping” more than 600 branches, business centres and nearby ATMs after the bank was targeted by unknown actors in what turned out to be a hoax.
The bank acted quickly to shut the doors of its nationwide network just after midday after receiving a “physical security threat”, leading the bank to progressively examine and clear the branches to ensure they were safe for staff and customers.
The bank announced it had taken the dramatic decision of closing its entire branch…
