Mysterious symbol on ALDI price stickers decoded in supermarket group: ‘Disappointing’ – 9Honey

An ALDI enthusiast has shared the secret behind a symbol that occasionally appears on the price stickers of items at the budget supermarket.
Sharing the revelation to Facebook group ALDI Mums, the woman said the small handwritten “D” means the product will be “discontinued.”
The woman was prompted to share the news after ALDI’s Bao Buns, a limited edition product with a cult following, had been branded by the disappointing letter.
