Murder probe on Gold Coast after woman’s body found in backyard

Queensland police have launched a possible murder investigation after a body was found on the Gold Coast.

Police were called to a Spikes Court residence in Arundel at 6.40am on Tuesday where a crime scene has been established.

Police said a body, believed to be that of a woman, was located in the backyard of the property. Police have been door-knocking neighbours and searching the area with police dogs.
