Murder investigation launched after man discovered dead in Wynnum bedroom

The discovery of a man’s body in the bedroom of a home near Brisbane has sparked a murder investigation.

The man in his 40s was found by two male friends in a Ronald Street property in Wynnum about midday on Wednesday.

Police have not revealed the man’s injuries but say it was clear his death was suspicious.

“It was clear to the attending officers that the person was deceased and it appeared suspicious,” Detective Inspector Steve Hollands told reporters.
