An Australian mum has taken to social media to warn other parents after an innocent-looking red mark on her sons arm turned into something much more serious.
The mum shared her story to Australian parenting information account @tinyheartseducation in the hope that other parents would be able to detect the warning signs of potentially deadly sepsis.
The anonymous writer said her eight-year-old son had fallen over during a trip to the zoo.
