Mum of Cairns toddler fatally left on bus slams decision to dismiss manslaughter charge
The mother of a Cairns toddler who died after allegedly being left on a bus for hours has criticised the dismissal of a manslaughter charge against a child care worker.
Muriel Namok has spoken publicly for the first time since the death of her three-year-old son Maliq “Meeky” Nicholas Floyd Namok-Malamoo a year ago.
In a tearful statement, she remembered her son as bringing “so much joy and laughter with his cheeky smiles”.
