In October 2019, Lori Delaney from Scotland was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.
But before her diagnosis, the 34 year old had been told by doctors three times that her concerns were nothing to worry about.
Nevertheless, Lori persisted – and she said following her own instincts probably saved her life.
I just wasnt feeling right and had a lump on my lip which I was a bit worried about, so I went to my GP, who said my iron was low, Delaney told The Daily Record.
