A woman who battled against coronavirus and survived ended up having her hands and feet amputated just weeks later after contracting life-threatening sepsis.
Caroline Coster, 58, from Bedford in the UK, spent two horrible weeks battling coronavirus in March.
She was on the road to recovery when she started feeling worse and developed a chest infection.
After a phone call with her GP, she was taken to Bedford Hospital, where she learned she had developed potentially life-threatening sepsis.
