PUTRAJAYA: The government signed a deal to buy an additional 12.2 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine manufactured by US and German drugmakers Pfizer and BioNTech, says the Health Ministry (MOH).
The ministry said that this brings the total amount of the Pfizer vaccine procured by Malaysia to 25 million doses, enough to cover 39% of the population.
The government via MOH and Pfizer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd on Monday (Jan 11) also signed the manufacturing and supply agreement for the pharmaceutical companys…
