Mount Sheridan Shopping Centre in Cairns becomes scene of ‘disturbance’ as young woman allegedly spits on customer restraining her

A young shopper causing a disturbance had to be restrained by customers before spitting on one of them, Queensland authorities claim.
The 19-year-old woman entered a store at Mount Sheridan Shopping Centre in Cairns on Sunday afternoon and allegedly caused a scene.
She is accused of throwing property inside the store before assaulting two people at a neighbouring business.
Two customers had to restrain her until police and security arrived, Queensland Police say.
