A mother-of-four may have to have fingers on both of her hands amputated after a dog bite led to sepsis.
Michelle Ellis, from the UK, was bitten by the family dog in the middle of January when she was putting it in its cage.
In the days following the bite, the 41 year olds condition worsened and she developed sepsis.
She was placed in an induced coma and put on dialysis.
