American Collin Morikawa produced one of the most memorable shots in PGA Championship history to clinch his first major as Jason Day’s career renaissance gathered pace in San Francisco.
Morikawa eagled the 342-yard 16th hole with a drive which trickled seven feet from the hole, edging the world No.12 into golf’s history books alongside Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, who all won their first PGA Championship at 23.
