Product Safety Australia has identified a defect that could result in an electrical short circuit and a fire starting in the engine compartment.
More than 57,000 Kia vehicles are being recalled over fears a fire could start in the engine compartment even when they are switched off and parked, with owners urged not to leave their car in the garage until it is fixed.
Product Safety Australia has identified 57,851 affected vehicles, being the Kia QL Sportage for model years 2016 to 2021, and the Kia CK Stinger for model years 2017 to 2019.
