Evidence suggests the proliferation of mutation brought a drop in death rates

Scientists discovered the genetic mutation of the SARS-CoV-2 as early as February and it has circulated in Europe and the Americas, the World Health Organization said. The WHO has also said there is no evidence the mutation has led to more severe disease.
