More COVID found in Qld sewage

Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said tests had picked up evidence of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in wastewater at treatment plants at Merrimac, on the Gold Coast, Cairns North and Cannonvale, in the Airlie Beach region.Dr Young said that while the positive tests did not mean Queensland had new cases of the virus in those communities, she was treating the information seriously.
