Muswellbrook, which has just recorded its first coronavirus case this year, has one of the lowest vaccination rates in NSW.
There have been 18 cases of COVID-19 recorded in the Hunter New England district, with the bulk of new infections coming from the Lake Macquarie area, south of Newcastle.
