Moderna coronavirus vaccines leave warehouse in US immunisation roll out
The United States has started shipping doses of the second approved COVID-19 vaccine to thousands of healthcare facilities around the country.

- There have been more than 310,000 coronavirus deaths in the US
- The US plans to deliver 5.9 million Moderna and 2 million Pfizer shots this week
- Moderna’s vaccine can be stored for 30 days in standard-temperature refrigerators
The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine received emergency use approval by the US Food and Drug Administration last week.
Distributor McKesson Corp said it had begun shipping out Moderna’s shots and ancillary supply kits to administer the vaccine.
