A police dog that went missing from his handlers’ home south of Brisbane two nights ago has been found by a member of the public.

The six-year-old black German shepherd, named Bravo, was off duty when he was last seen in Regents Park at 8:00pm on Friday.

A search was launched in the area involving several police officers including members of the dog squad.

Queensland Police Service said PD Bravo was handed into Logan Central Station this morning.

In a statement, QPS said it was “great news”.
