Missing fisherman Andrew Heard feared to be taken by crocodiles in Queensland

A man missing in north Queensland waters feared to have been taken by a crocodile has been identified as an experienced boatie.
Andrew Heard, 69, set off on a fishing trip in Gayundah Creek near Hinchinbrook Island on Thursday afternoon but when he failed to return, his wife raised the alarm.
Police found his 2m boat capsized punctured with bite marks early on Friday.
Wildlife officer Ren Bone said the assessment of damage to the boat is consistent with that of a saltwater crocodile.
