MIRA asks lenders to help bankroll Vocus play – The Australian Financial Review
Macquarie Group’s MIRA is trying to secure a $2 billion-odd debt package to help acquire fibre network owner Vocus Group.

ANZ Banking Group, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank and HSBC were all involved in that deal, and are expected to be keen to go again under MIRAs ownership at the right terms. It would be a coup for MIRA if it could lock up some of the potential lenders, given the possibility that another cashed-up infrastructure or private equity investor tries to turn Vocus into a bidding war.
