Microsoft claims its game-streaming platform, Xbox Game Pass, has effectively been hobbled by Apple on iPhones and iPads in order to protect Apple’s own gaming service, Apple Arcade.
Microsoft told the ACCC that Arcade gets “preferential and advantageous treatment in the App Store like “no other third-party game or gaming subscription service”.
