NHS Blood and Transplant have put out an appeal for men in and around the city whove had coronavirus or the symptoms volunteer to donate blood plasma.
Men are considered more valuable donors, but in and close to Gloucester of 2,522 people who have recovered from Covid-19 and volunteered to donate – only 35 per cent have been male.
