Former AMA Chairman Dr. Tony Bartone told ABC News The lack of genome matching in the two new cases yesterday was a “worry”, adding that the authorities may not be able to track down to the end.
“At this stage, the fact that we were unable to perform genome matching on two of the cases announced yesterday is worrisome.
He explained: It is not always possible to obtain a genome match in every case, so we may not know how the origin of this Delta variant entered Melbourne in this case.
